Working with the Irish Football Association for the Stay Onside Programme

We’re committed to creating lasting impact in the communities we serve. Through our two-year partnership with the Irish Football Association’s Stay Onside programme, we aim to support individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds by promoting engagement through football and raising awareness of career opportunities within H&J Martin Group.

Charity Partners

As a group of companies, we build long-term partnerships with charities to create maximum impact. Our chosen charities include Cancer Fund for Children, Jack and Jill Foundation, Jak’s Den, and Charis Cancer Centre. Each of these organizations is dedicated to supporting families and children affected by cancer.

Community Groups

We take a proactive approach across the UK and Ireland to partner with community groups. This includes initiatives such as our collaboration with the Irish Football Association to deliver community support programs during school holidays for families in lower-income communities, and providing work experience workshops for individuals in active rehabilitation from the prison service. We strive to give back to the communities we serve in meaningful ways.

Volunteering

Every employee receives one dedicated day for volunteering, in addition to their annual leave. This can be used to support a charity of their choice. Our administration team also works closely with community groups and charity partners to provide volunteering opportunities for all team members.

 

Local and Diverse Supply Chain

We recognise that a local and diverse supply chain contributes to the economic vitality of the surrounding community. By partnering with locally sourced suppliers, we support small businesses, create jobs, and strengthen the regional economy. We are proud to be active participants in Social Enterprise NI.
